Who will play more games this season, Greg Oden or Andrew Bynum?
Over 4 seasons Bynum has only played over 50 games once, on the other hand, in Odenʻs first year as an NBA player he played 61 games even though he struggled with injuries. Between these two players itʻs a coin flip, however, if I were a betting man I would place my chips on the younger looking player (Bynum) whose been in the NBA longer and hopefully has learned what it takes to train his body for an entire season. With that said, whoever has drafted these players, I wish you luck because you have a coin flip or a twisted ankle chance of losing them for the year.

Now this is a great question. And being the manager of both Drew and GO, I hope this question doesn't come back and bite me in the okole. Quite simply, these 2 are amazing and talented big men. Nobody quite knows their full potential yet. But, I know I wouldn't be surprised if both go out and average close to a double double nightly along with 2 blocks a game. Recall Bynum's 5 games last year before his injury, where he averaged a whopping 26.2 points, 13.8 boards, and 3.2 blocks. This year he's off to another solid start. I'm predicting Drew will play 71 games this year. But, please Phil, bench Drew on Nov. 6, Feb. 1, and Feb. 23. These are the dates they have scheduled with Memphis, where Drew's last 2 devastating injuries have occurred.
Meanwhile, Greg Oden has been quite the scintillating conundrum. He showed flashes of brilliance in the preseason and has looked great defensively in his 1st two games this year, where he's averaging 10.5 boards and 3.5 swats. Another big note is that Greg has lost 15 pounds of "baby fat" since last year and he does look a lot faster on his feet. This has helped him become quicker to jump for rebounds and move laterally to defend other big men. More importantly, playing at a lighter weight may help him eschew injury concerns. That is a big MAY, and that's why I have GO playing in 70 games this year, which would put him at 9 games more than last year.
So, Andrew Bynum, possible Western Conference All-Star Center wins the battle.
On a side note: What do Yao Ming, Al Jefferson, Amare Stoudemire, Elton Brand, Andrew Bogut, Jermaine O'Neal, Nene, Tyson Chandler, Marcus Camby and many others have in common??? They, like Drew and GO are big men with injury problems. I can't name that many high profile guards who have been injury prone like the above. So, since I have my own injury concerns to worry about, I also wish those who drafted or own the above players luck because you guys also have a "coin flip or a twisted ankle chance of losing them for the year." out.
Thanks for making me worried Mike. I have two of those guys on your list of injury prone centers. I think I should send Jermaine and Amare some milk to strengthen their bones and spinach cause popeye never got hurt.
haha. isn't that what fantasy sports does to us? make us all worried that our superstar player will get wrecked and out for the year. a memo to all the pro teams: let's replace the gatorade & hot dogs (ahem. mark sanchez.) with tons of spinach.
